The Auberge du Lac-à-l'Eau-Claire resort, located in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, Quebec, offers traditional guest rooms with TV, coffee maker, and air conditioning. Guests enjoy kayak and rowboat rentals, hiking and mountain biking trails, on-site dining, free Wi-Fi, a wellness center with gym, hammam, and indoor lap pool, and spa treatments, all surrounded by à-l'Eau Claire Lake, 25 minutes from downtown.

The hotel sits in gorgeous nature and every staff member is sweet, plus the pier is stunning. The suite didn’t suit us; the room and bathroom were renovated, but the kitchen and living area stayed from the 80s, which is a pity!

The site was beautiful, but the room didn’t match the reservation: we had booked, with a group of friends, two luxury rooms for 3 nights, each with two Queen‑size beds and a lake view; the listing clearly stated a bathtub in the bathroom. On arrival, our friends’ room had a large bathroom with a window, bathtub, shower, and double sink (about 14 m²), while our room had no window, only a shower and a single sink (about 5 m²). Management replied that the listing was wrong and the bathtub wasn’t guaranteed; the last available room had been given to a client the night before who had requested it! It’s surprising that both rooms were charged the same price, and if we hadn’t been two couples we wouldn’t have noticed the difference. The hotel (factory) hosts many groups, and the food at the restaurant is mediocre and expensive (catering). The breakfast line is annoying.

The surroundings are beautiful, the restaurant is excellent, and the seaplane activity is great. The rooms have weak lighting.

Un des meilleurs de notre périple de 15j, chambre très propre et spacieuse, les équipements sont extras. Le restaurant dans lequel nous avons très bien mangé et le service. Rien, peut être la vue de la chambre (parking ou lac) dommage c’était parking
