The location was good and the owner was prompt. The bathroom and kitchen were lacking.

“Soggiorno pessimo.”

The historic center of Trapani was great. The accommodation was not very clean, both the room and common areas. It was a shabby apartment with old furniture that smelled old, and there were extra pieces of furniture covered with sheets. There was no water, so we couldn’t shower, brush our teeth, or do anything else. The owner replied that there was no water in the whole city, but I’m Sicilian and water is a constant issue, so people use private tanks to guarantee basic services even when the city has no water. The owner was also very superficial. The stay was terrible, I strongly recommend against it, and I don’t understand how it can be on booking.

“Vado spesso a Trapani ma questo alloggio l'ho cancellato dalla mia lista”

I misunderstood that a room with a private bathroom meant the bathroom was in the room, but I was wrong! You had to go through the common room, then there was a tiny locked bathroom for our use. Opening a numeric lock at night… absolutely avoid that in the future. The check‑in was laborious and an adventure before getting the key that would open the door!

The room was found in unacceptable hygienic conditions: dirty bathroom, ants in the shower, and a live cockroach in the room in the morning, as shown in the attached photo. I immediately reported the issue to the owner asking for a refund. She replied that the cockroach could have entered through the window because “there are everywhere at this time.” She said they would check with the cleaning staff and let me know, but I never received a response, even after following up. Besides the terrible hygiene, the way the complaint was handled was very unprofessional. The stay and treatment were unacceptable. I do not recommend this place at all.

“Mediana”

The location was great, especially since we used the boat tour and the marina was right in front – amazing! The fact that the private bathroom wasn’t inside the room didn’t bother me… the worst part was having to put a code to access it; they could innovate with a key, it would be more practical. Also, one of our towels was dirty, and the room was very poorly cleaned! I advise those who only stay one night, or like me who just used the place to sleep, not to waste much time there.
