Pousada Pénareia

“Estadia perfeita.”

The pousada is very comfortable and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are attentive; on top of that, the sun rises right in front of the pousada, which I found simply wonderful—I woke up early every day to see the sunrise directly in front of the pousada. The only drawback is that you have to walk a little to reach the town center with restaurants.

The room was comfortable, the location excellent, the pool was beautiful, and the receptionist Alisson was amazing and made a big difference in our stay. The breakfast staff were rude (they didn’t respond to “good morning”) and snide, creating a very unpleasant atmosphere; they criticized guests in front of everyone and laughed loudly, which everyone could see. Breakfast had very few options, extremely limited. The room also had a lot of mold.

“Wonderful hotel that I will stay at again if I return to the island!”

The hotel is beautiful, right on the water, and the area is quiet at night; the staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, the AC works well, the breakfast is excellent, and the pool is amazing. It’s also just steps from great restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and tours. The whole island feels very safe and amazingly beautiful. The only issue was a few minor maintenance problems that should be fixed, but they didn’t affect the wonderful stay. I’ll definitely stay there again if I return to the island.

“Excelente lugar ,mejor de nuestras expectativas”

Excellent location, very good shower, a very varied breakfast, and owners attentive to every detail. The pool is spectacular. Nothing else to note.
