The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and everything was spotless. The large parking lot was handy for my big Transit van, and the pub next door was far enough away that it didn’t bother me. The food was good and the breakfast lovely. I only stayed one night, so I couldn’t really find any faults.

The location was good for getting to the National Water Sports Centre. Breakfast started at 08:00, which was too late for us because we had to be at the race site before 8 am, so we missed it both days. Most guests were probably at the same event and didn’t get breakfast even though they paid for it. On Saturday night the restaurant was clearly overwhelmed; we waited almost two hours for our meal, as did many other guests.
