“Great property if you don’t mind being treated like a naughty child.”

The property’s size, comfort, and amenities were excellent, and the location was great. The constant reminders of rules—threats of fines or police calls—were overbearing. Every email listed rules, and signs inside the property repeated them, like “no noise after 10 pm? Police!” As three adults in our 50s, this authoritarian atmosphere dampened what could have been a pricey but otherwise fantastic stay. We’re used to rules in Japan and had no issues elsewhere in the country.

The location was fine. The place smelled bad, the washing machine was broken, and the pillows were poor.

The location, lift, washing machine, and fridge were all good. The stay was enjoyable. The washing machine displayed an error on our last day.

We loved that the place sat right in the city center, overlooking the plaza, and was huge compared to Tokyo standards. The area was bright, airy, and well decorated. It could accommodate many friends or family if needed. The ladder worked well for the space, but the metal was uncomfortable to climb; perhaps wood would be better.
