“Pleasant Stay in Comfy Room with Tranquil Garden”

Quiet and away from the hustle & bustle of Jonker Street yet still a short walk from most attractions, Ms Winnie welcomed me warmly and gave great F&B tips; I stayed in the South Room on the ground floor, enjoying its tranquil garden, and the on-site café ran from 9am‑5pm, perfect for when I didn’t want to leave; the shower water pressure was a bit weak but still acceptable, I would have preferred a mini fridge in the room instead of a shared one, mosquitoes were unavoidable but the property supplied bug spray and coils, and covering up with long sleeves and pants kept me bite‑free.

I was disappointed by the lack of on‑site parking; I had to pay a 100 ringgit fee for a spot 100 m away and there was no mention of a staircase, which was a tight climb for my diabetic condition. The place felt old‑fashioned, dusty, and full of mosquitoes—my first night I even got an eye infection, probably from an insect bite. The windows were too open, and the only mosquito protection offered was a basic coil. The reception was not on‑site either; we had to go through a café owned by someone else and lock the doors ourselves. Overall, it was too expensive for the condition of the rooms and the hassle involved.

The accommodation offered a cozy, nature‑inspired vibe right in the city centre, close to everything I needed and wanted. I had no complaints; it was perfect for my stay.
