Best Western East Zion Thunderbird Lodge sits on the east side of Zion National Park, offering panoramic mountain and pool views from every room. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, hot tub, mini‑market, and free Wi‑Fi. The on‑site restaurant, vending machine gift shop, and laundry facilities complement complimentary parking and in‑room cable TV. Located 21 km from Zion, it provides convenient access to the park’s trails.

A great spot if you’re heading to Zion National Park, but the surrounding area offers little to do. The on‑site restaurant is awful and not worth trying, and there are few other dining choices nearby. Breakfast isn’t included, which makes the price feel too high for what you get. The fridge and air‑conditioner were so noisy that it was hard to sleep.

The room was huge and we could wash our own laundry, which was awesome. The restaurant right there was great, and the pool and parking were right outside the door. The only downside was that all the pillows felt a bit too firm.

This was the best place we found on our road trip, just a half‑hour from Zion and an hour from Bryce. The property was impeccably clean and well‑maintained, both outdoors and in the room, which was stylish and welcoming. The pool was spotless, with loungers and scented towels. Inside the motel there was a solid restaurant and a convenience store stocked with everything. Overall a fantastic experience, though the location feels a bit isolated from everything else, which is a fair trade‑off for being midway between the two parks at a reasonable price.
