The spot is great, breakfast was solid, and the hosts were friendly. The house itself was clean and comfortable, but the mattress felt a bit too soft for my taste. Overall, a decent stay with just that one small issue.

Everything was spot on – the hosts were super welcoming, the breakfast came in a cute wooden box right to the room, and the balcony was a perfect spot to start the day in peace. The room was spotless and set up nicely for a private retreat. I’d definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.

My friend and I really enjoyed the trip – the breakfast was tasty even if it stayed pretty much the same each day, and the location was a real balm for the soul, quiet and stunning with a mountain‑lake view from the balcony. The mattresses, however, are a bit worn and soft, which was a problem for me because of back pain; my friend didn’t mind as much.

Breakfast was varied and I liked eating it on the terrace. The Grundlsee area is gorgeous, and the Narzissenfest is worth a visit. The only downside was that the trail from Grundlsee to Bad Aussee isn’t well marked, which made it a bit confusing.
