“Had a nice time overall but don’t expect much”
It’s a cute spot for a day or two in Big Bear, but it’s dusty, full of spiders, a mouse was heard in the walls, and overall cleanliness is lacking.

The pool is fantastic, everything functions well, the location is ideal, and the staff are friendly.

I didn’t even stay; I checked in, checked out an hour later, and the place was nothing like the photos or the ads – a complete letdown and a shame that this business can be advertised on that site.

The grounds were gorgeous, so we spent most of our time outside—walking, sitting, playing horseshoes, and enjoying the fire pit; the pool was spotless and we could walk to the lake and marina, and the location was great with a comfy bed and dog‑friendly vibes. However, the cabin felt a bit rundown—couch covered with a blanket, old pillows, dusty windows, spiders building a web in the bathroom, damaged lounge chairs, and the porch BBQ needed a deep clean. The price was lower for a reason; we felt we overpaid for a small cabin that was close to the main road with a lot of street noise. I’d consider returning but would prefer a quieter spot in Big Bear.
