“To be honest, I was disappointed with my hotel experience in Manama”
I didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The main let‑down was the smoking room and the overall floor condition. When I first entered the room, cigarette smoke filled the space and the entire floor; my wife had breathing discomfort because of the odor. After we asked for a room change, the staff were very helpful and moved us to a different floor. I was also disappointed that the actual room and hotel looked quite different from the website photos. For a hotel advertised as 4‑star, I expected basic room amenities such as a safety locker, slippers, and an iron; slippers had to be requested separately. Overall, the staff were very helpful and cooperative, which I appreciated, but the room facilities and the discrepancy between the website images and the real hotel could be improved.
