The restaurant was good, the staff were friendly, and the mountain view was lovely. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a refrigerator.

Moondance Boutique Resort is situated in Fenglou Village, Yulong River District, 10 km from West Street, offering breathtaking views of mountains and rivers. The resort features well-designed rooms with free wired internet, flat-screen TVs, and private balconies overlooking the surrounding landscapes. Amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, in-room massages, bicycle rentals, and a library. The on-site restaurant serves Chinese and Western cuisine.

The staff, restaurant, and garden were all good. The bathroom was too hot and lacked proper ventilation, with 2‑3 outdoor AC units outside the windows. I had to close the curtains for privacy, but gaps between the curtains and walls let light in at night.

Every corner and every detail of the property was splendid, exceeding our expectations. The only minor issue was a faint old wooden floor smell in the room, which we didn’t mind.
