Orchid Garden Suites, a pre-war mansion hotel in Malate, offers peaceful stays with a landscaped pool, overlooking Manila Bay. The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi, parking, and shuttle services, including to the Mall of Asia. Classic wood furnishings and neutral shades adorn air-conditioned rooms, which feature cable TV, a fridge, and en-suite bathrooms with slippers and toiletries.

The breakfast buffet was actually quite good; the omelette station was crowded because of an event, but otherwise the food was enjoyable. The pool was clean and well maintained, and since we were off‑season (except for a conference) it was just us and a few friends using it. The room was much larger than we expected. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely return soon. The location might be a drawback for some; it's a short walk to Vito Cruz station, but there’s not much to do or eat nearby. Luckily, the hotel has a decent restaurant and lobby café.
