The town of Toowoomba is charming, and the Comfort Inn Grammar View’s restaurant is great with an absolutely amazing waitress. The rooms look dated and could use a refresh, and the prices were higher than usual because of the Toowoomba flower festival, which feels unfair and contrary to a welcoming tourist vibe.

The beds are consistently comfortable, but on this visit we stayed in the rooms at the far end beneath the function room and were disappointed: the room was old, the blinds were broken, it wasn’t as clean as our usual stays, and the noise from upstairs was noticeable.

The bed and pillows were very comfy, and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of toiletries. No negatives to report.

The location is close to key destinations and the ambience is quiet. Both nights were fully booked, and the WiFi was inadequate for the many users.
