As regular visitors to Piran we stayed three nights in this apartment. The location is excellent for those who want to be really close to the sea. Situated on the fourth floor, it might not be ideal for elderly, disabled, or those traveling with heavy luggage, but we had no problem with it. The interior and furniture are simple but tasteful, a bit dated or worn in places, but that was perfectly acceptable for us (if you want something fancy or luxurious, look elsewhere). The twin beds were good, though the mattress and pillows were a little soft for my taste, and we slept well. The wooden floor creaks a little. The terrace is a nice feature, but we didn’t use it much because the weather was too hot and humid. The kitchenette, bathroom, A/C, and wifi were all working. The A/C was the best, very effective and quiet, almost zero noise at lowest speed, so I could leave it running through the night. The hospitality was excellent; Gorazd is one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever met. Bottom line: we had a very good stay and would consider this apartment again when we return to Piran next time, and I recommend it to other travelers who don’t mind the simplicity and are ready to take the stairs to the fourth floor.
