“Gutes, modernes und sauberes Hotel”
The place feels modern and clean, and the standard breakfast buffet works fine, but there’s no lift, which is a downside.

We returned to the Old Editorial Office for a second time, and the transformation of the old building still amazed us; every corner is crafted with great detail even though it feels a bit cramped. Our room was again on the top floor and had air‑conditioning, the beds were comfortable, and the layout was practical. The only issue was that luggage had to be carried up to the third floor, which is exhausting and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. I had expected the same attention to detail at breakfast, but it was just basic: the jam was the cheapest generic brand, essentially just sugar, and the cold cuts and cheeses were bland. I wanted something special, especially since the hotel gives off a unique vibe that I hoped would carry over to the breakfast. It’s a missed opportunity that could be improved.

Everything looks very clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive, though the mattress felt a bit too soft for my taste, which might just be a personal preference.

Parking is available right at the hotel, the location is in the city center, and the rooms and bathrooms are modern.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a tidy layout and even a coffee machine. The restaurant served tasty evening meals and happily accommodated my allergy needs. The breakfast buffet was excellent, featuring scrambled eggs, and the evening restaurant’s interior was pleasant with dim lighting. It’s interesting that the building used to house a newspaper and printing shop. The staff were very friendly. The only drawback for those with heavy or bulky luggage is the long, winding corridors with many stairs and no elevator, which could be problematic. It would have been nice to see old photos from the building’s newspaper days.
