Good location and value for money. Great customer service. My daughter’s room had a bit of noise from outside nature sounds; I guess it feels like a tent. My room was not tent‑like.

Elephant View Lodge, perched in Kasenyi near Murchison Falls, offers spacious family rooms with private baths, balconies overlooking the river, work desks and seating areas. Very friendly staff and delicious Tilapa fish. The lodge is right next to the gate of Murchison Falls National Park. Everything else is fine.

The main building has a lovely vibe with a view of the Nile in the distance. We were welcomed with a cool towel and drink. The staff were nice. The beds sleep well, but the rooms are mediocre. The bathroom ceilings are open, which could bring animals in. There is no hot water, everything runs on solar panels, so there's no power at night. Charming but also problematic. Overall, you pay for the location (near but outside the park), but in terms of price‑quality it’s not worth it. We stayed one night, so for us it was fine.
