The hotel feels brand‑new and the staff are friendly, plus the promenade and the view from the rooms are really nice. We loved the infinity pool with its sand area, loungers and a separate kids zone, and the European‑style restaurants on the ground floor were a pleasant surprise. The only downside is that there’s no beach right at the property – you have to go about 1.5 km away and rely on the hotel shuttle, and the restaurant menu leans heavily toward Chinese tastes.

This place is clean and modern, offering stunning views of Phoenix Island both day and night, and the promenade is perfect for a morning jog. The infinity pool is lovely, complete with a sand play area and kids’ toys, and the two European restaurants on the first floor, plus a Starbucks and French bakery, were a real treat. However, the beach is a city strip 1.5 km away with no loungers or changing rooms, and the food options are clearly aimed at Chinese guests, which didn’t suit us.
