The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic, but the room was only 6 ft tall and cramped, especially for my husband who is 6'5". It was cozy, though.

The director took great care of us and the food was the best I’ve had in Appenzell—felt like home.

The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, top‑class 10 stars plus! Nothing to add.

Everything was great: the staff were excellent, breakfast was good, the room was clean and comfy with a nice view of the town.
