Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Princeton

“Fantastic hotel, and a great value for the price!”

The Fairfield Inn and Suites is always spotless and offers great value! We travel back-and-forth a lot to the Savannah, Georgia area because we have a daughter in college there. We always choose this hotel on the way and would never stay elsewhere. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the rooms are always clean, and the breakfast is a great value with delicious food—there’s nothing we don’t like about the property.

“There was no stay, but the experience leading up to what should have been a stay did not go well.”

The location was good & the facility looked clean.at least from the lobby. Our room wasn't held for us so we didn't get to stay here. We made a reservation & weren't going to be able to check in until after midnight. We called to let them know the timing. They said it would be ok & we would still have a room. When we showed up at about 1:45am, our room wasn't available. They said that our reservation had been moved to the following day. The concierge didn't offer any solutions or help in cancelling/refunding except to call a neighboring hotel. We had also called before making the reservation to make sure a room that said it could sleep 5 really could. During that phone call, we were told yes, it had 2 queens & a pull-out couch. When we were talking with the concierge about what rooms might work, we were then told that the double queens didn't have pull-out couches. We were still charged for the stay. When we tried to reach someone at the hotel the next day, they listened to the story, asked to put me on hold, & left me there with no further communication for almost an hour (we were still on the drive home, so I had the time to wait). I have photos & screenshots of the reservation confirmations & being left on hold. I then called Marriott directly & we are currently working with them to receive a refund

The pool wasn’t heated even though it was advertised as such.

“I liked it there other tehn i couple of issues. But over all i probally will stay there again.”

The room was clean and spacious, but I couldn’t set the right temperature even after fiddling with the thermostat, and there was no TV guide for the channels.
