The location was perfect, but everything else was old and the price was too high for such an old hotel; it feels like it’s drowning in its own age.

The room had big windows and lovely French décor, the location is excellent if you’re heading to Southern France by train after staying in Paris, but the TV was tiny with few options for English‑speaking guests, and the continental breakfast could use improvement—though it was efficient and included scramble eggs and bacon.
