Located next to Cabot Circus shopping centre, the Future Inn Bristol is a 10-minute walk from Bristol's Temple Meads Station. This hotel features air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, work desks, and bathrooms with baths, showers, and hairdryers. The Chophouse Restaurant and Bar serves all-day meals, and offers convenient car parking for overnight guests in the adjacent Cabot Circus car park.

The location was superb and the parking was free, but it would have been nicer if there was an online car registration system because we had to tell the reception each time we left to get the exit activated.

The location was excellent, close to bus stops, shopping, and a short walk into town, and the “free” parking was a huge bonus. However, the woman who checked us in was so stern that my wife had to tell her to stop frowning. The room initially seemed clean, but a closer look revealed a clear line of dust and dirt where the carpet met the skirting board, and the dirt followed the skirting board under the bedside table. The sliding shower door was only attached to the top rail; the bottom rail was filthy, though the rest of the bathroom was fine. Our last morning began with workmen on the sixth floor waking us at 5am by banging loudly and scraping furniture across the floor. When we complained to the manager, he offered a refund, but that didn’t make up for the disturbance. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid staying in a room at the rear end on the fifth floor to avoid being woken by careless workmen.
