We did not stay there because it no longer offers accommodation. The business was sold earlier this year and is now just a restaurant with no accommodation. It is now called Lakeview. We found alternative accommodation and are awaiting a refund

Nothing. There was no hotel! The premises had changed hands, and was no longer a hotel. We arrived to check in and were told we weren't the first to turn up expecting a hotel, and that they'd tried to get to remove the listing and inform guests, but hadn't had any substantive response. We'd also submitted a check‑in time request on the day, which told us had been approved, despite the previous owners presumably having been long gone! An unnecessary stress of needing to find somewhere else to stay at short notice 😭😭. Do not book, no matter what the listing says!

I was disappointed because the place was only a restaurant—no rooms, no contact, nothing that could be considered a hotel. Everything was lacking.

The entire property was lovely.

The staff were just great and made us feel very welcome, and the restaurant served excellent Indian food. However, the location near the M62 made it hard to sleep with the window open.
