“Eine kleine Naturoase mit einer lieben Gastgeberin 👍🏻”
It’s a small garden paradise with a very nice hostess who only speaks Spanish. The 140 cm bed is comfortable, the mattress is fairly soft. The shower has good pressure, the place is very clean, and there’s a couch about 180–200 cm long. Dining on the large terrace works well (I didn’t use the grill). There’s an outdoor shower and a drying rack outside, but no washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped (toaster, microwave, fridge with freezer, Bialetti espresso maker, induction stove with two plates). A ceiling fan and a desk fan are present, Wi‑Fi is good, and the drive to Anaga takes 25–30 min. The price‑performance is neutral. It’s a nature paradise, so many geckos, lizards, and other little creatures roam around, but that didn’t bother me 🦎. Everything else was fine except a few small issues: if you come from the north, don’t follow the GPS “300 m after the sign, turn left”; instead, go straight out of the village, then turn right at the sports field and sharply left. The northern Camino de la Hoya is very narrow and steep, not 180 cm wide. If you come from the south, even though there’s a “dead end” sign, you’ll get to the house easily. A fly net on the window would have been nice for cooler nights, the fridge is a bit loud, and the tap drips (I had to place a sponge under it, otherwise it would have been too loud at night).
