The pool area was great, but the restaurant service left something to be desired. It was a hectic Friday night, so that’s understandable, yet the dishes and wine arrived late.

The spot was perfect—close enough to stroll to everything yet far enough that the streets stayed quiet. The price felt a touch steep, especially since we never hit all the amenities; they shut down at 8 pm, and we usually returned from outings around that time.

“Well appointed rooms but very small, very central but the trade off is that parking is a challenge”

The location was very central and the staff were friendly, but the rooms felt cramped and parking was a hassle.

“Relaxing and trendy hotel just a stone’s throw away from Galway City Center, with minor operational issues.”

-We loved the location—it was within a 5-10 minute walk to the city center, and it was easily spotted from the bottom of the hill. -The mid-century décor throughout the hotel was very immersive and warm. -The bed in our double room was very comfortable, with enough space in the room to walk around in and place our suitcases. -Sophie’s was a fabulous restaurant—we enjoyed the kale salad and brick oven pizzas the most. -Staff was approachable and helpful. -The heated pool was a major highlight. Very relaxing. locker rooms were well-equipped with toiletries. -Overall, I would stay here again without a doubt. -The door to our bathroom was very difficult to open and close; the handle felt very awkward to use. -This next note could have been simply an assumption on my part, but a lot of the basic toiletries were only available upon request. To be fair, when I asked reception for washcloths, they delivered them right away, but I had no idea about the process. Again, I could have totally just missed the memo. -The lockers didn’t work the night we went to the pool. Luckily I didn’t have any valuables with me, but ideally lockers should work
