There was hardly anything positive. The location was acceptable, but otherwise the accommodation did not live up to our expectations or the price. Chaos started upon arrival: the entrance was completely unsignposted, so we couldn’t find it at first. We then waited outside for about 45 minutes until the host appeared. A young man showed us the room, which was neither clean nor well maintained and had an unpleasant odor. The shared shower and toilet were located on the opposite end of the building. When the host returned, he claimed we hadn’t listed our children in the booking. Our kids are 6 and 15, yet he called them “babies” and demanded an extra €70 for two beds, even though there were no baby beds or additional sleeping options on site. We had booked correctly and received no confirmation indicating otherwise. Instead of resolving the issue together, the host reacted very unfriendly and aggressively, telling us we had to sort it out ourselves, refusing to wait or help. He demanded we leave the property immediately and said we could call later if we wanted, but that was not his problem. Even though we explained we were traveling with two children and it was already late, he showed no understanding. His only statement was, “Either pay or leave.” For almost €300 per night we expected a clean hotel with good service. Instead, we were treated disrespectfully and kicked out without any assistance. A decent host would at least try to find a solution together.
