Glyfada Beach Hotel

Everything was good, especially the breakfast. The location is ideal for swimming but not a good base for traveling because the road in is narrow and winding.

“Good location, but not the experience we expected”

We gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the hotel sits in a very good spot, the beach is nearby, and Irini was exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. This was our second visit, but the experience fell short of expectations. We stayed for two weeks and wanted a more comfortable place. Our room faced the hotel’s restaurant, so we heard noise and smelled unpleasant odors from the ventilation system. The bathroom had a practical issue: after every shower, water overflowed from the tub onto the floor. Breakfast was a major letdown—the selection and quantity were limited, and it seemed to get worse each day. Even with good weather, we couldn’t enjoy breakfast outside because of many wasps, and sometimes they were inside the dining area, making it very unpleasant and inconvenient. Overall, for a two‑week stay and a second visit, we expected a much better experience.

Room 25 meters from the sea, good beach, clean water, regular room cleaning, perfect breakfasts, and a good nearby restaurant. The showers could have been directly on the beach, not just in the hotel room.

The location was excellent, just a few steps from the beach, the breakfast was very good, and the view of the beach was lovely. The entrance didn’t look very clean.

“Very good value and great location”

Location was great. Wasn’t impressed when the kitchen staff started coughing on the food at the buffet as they were replenishing
