The accommodation was gorgeous, I felt very at ease, and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only issue was that I had booked a waterfront room but my room had no ocean view; however, the hosts offered a deck by the water where I could sit to enjoy the scenery.

Wow! My partner and I absolutely loved our time at Sea ‘N’ Stars BNB; it’s a snug coastal forest cottage gem. Susan greeted us warmly and has beautifully arranged the space with thoughtful touches. We adored the comfy bed tucked between two ferns—our teddy bears did too! The view was incredible, and we enjoyed the local art, homemade food and apple juice, fun entertainment, local information, fresh flowers, and so much more. Susan really showcases Gabriola’s charm. We would have preferred to celebrate my partner’s birthday elsewhere, but we’ll definitely stay again—maybe for a longer stay next time—and recommend it to all our friends.

The hospitality, attentive hosting with fabulous food, a comfortable bed and furnishings, but most of all the position of the bnb with it's sea views. Bonus points for use of the patio furniture inclusive of fire pit table

We had a lovely stay. Steve and Susan were sweet, genuine hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, offering homemade pastries, corn on the cob, fresh fruit, snacks, and plenty of drinks throughout our visit. The home was cozy, clean, and fully equipped with movies, a beautiful record player, and board games for guests of all ages. Being by the water and stargazing at night created a peaceful, magical experience. The only drawback was that the space felt a bit smaller than we had expected, but it wasn’t an issue overall for our trip.

The location is gorgeous, right by the water. Susan and Steve were fantastic hosts and offered breakfast and amenities that went above and beyond. It’s not a typical Airbnb; it feels like stepping back in time with unique furnishings and art. You can arrive with little and have everything you need for a Gabriola adventure. Thanks for a great family getaway.
