“Hat unbedingt historischen Wert. Nur vom Hotel her etwas zu teuer.”

Living in such a prominent spot felt impressive; sitting on the terrace, sipping coffee while watching the pool was very chic. The location in the heart of Kigali is great—most places are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entire hotel area, garden, and pool seemed to be cleaned and maintained constantly. The hotel overall feels a little dated; a refresh of the furnishings, furniture, room windows, and other older, worn elements would be beneficial.

The staff were quite helpful and lovely, but there was no play area for kids and the swimming pool was closed for the entire three days we stayed. It didn’t offer good value for money.

“Très bien”

The room was good, breakfast was fine, and the pool was clean. However, there were no towels in my room, which should be addressed during housekeeping.

“Good staff but let down by the old furniture and decor”

It’s central and close to all amenities, and the staff are good. Unfortunately, the furniture is old, the corridors are dark and need refurbishing, and room service is hit and miss—I had to remind them twice for my order. The TV screen is old, the minibar in the 5‑star room was empty, and the washroom/toilets are outdated.

Everything was excellent, especially the staff who were all super friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
