“Good”

I had a great stay, mainly because the staff were incredibly friendly all the time. The breakfast team especially stood out, serving us with a smile and super‑friendly service each morning, making it a place I’ll definitely return to. The location was also great. On the downside, the mattress was quite uncomfortable; the filling had compressed so much that it lost its fluffiness, and there were low spots or “dips” where weight concentrated. I’d rate the room’s cleanliness 7 out of 10.

The rooftop patio was wonderful, but the hotel is only within walking distance of most things.

We appreciated the breakfast and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is well located. The view from the room was a small, worn courtyard. The metro vibration from 5 am to 11 pm was noticeable, even though the room was on the third floor.

“Lovely Boutique Hotel & Guest Services”

As a world traveler, it’s always the people that make a hotel stay exceptional, and here in Italy, this beautiful boutique Hotel Barberini was no exception. Thanks to Samuele, Mark, Sophia, Michel, and everyone at the rooftop café in Rome. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautiful in this upgraded historic building, conveniently in the heart of town yet on a quiet side street. When Lufthansa Airlines lost my luggage, instead of getting upset I found comfort from the staff who encouraged me and called the airline on my behalf to retrieve my baggage. Unfortunately, the couriers did not deliver the bags, but I appreciate Samuel and others who tried. I owe them much gratitude for their efforts and will return to Rome. Aloha from Hawaii!
