A warm, friendly, and welcoming hotel right in the center of Dunster village. I stayed there to attend the Two Moors Festival at the church. The decor felt a bit dated.

Excellent location, with friendly and helpful staff. However, there are too many doors and parking is a pot‑luck situation.

Everything was as we remembered from our previous stay, and the staff were even nicer! Parking remains a problem and is hard to resolve.

I stayed at a nice hotel in a lovely spot with friendly staff, and the self‑service breakfast on day one was a real help because we had to leave early for a sporting event. The breakfast on the second day wasn’t as good; a staff member served hot items but didn’t know when they would be restocked, and the cold selection was poor.

We received excellent service and were told ahead of time what the dinner menu would be. The rooms were nice, each offering a view of the high street. The shower cubicle was a bit cramped, but the water pressure and temperature were fine. Breakfast was decent, though on Sunday it was served in a manual portioning style and on the bank holiday Monday we had to order ahead. The village itself has limited lunch and dinner options, so planning ahead and making reservations is advisable. Parking was a challenge; there was no free on‑street parking and the paid Dunster Steep lot was hard to find. While the hotel provides Wi‑Fi, there is no mobile data coverage in the village, so you’re stuck relying on the Wi‑Fi from restaurants and other businesses.
