The room was very cute – I stayed in the Kildale, which has its own entrance off the back lane, making it super handy for bringing in my grandbaby travel cot and the like – the bed was comfy and the bath was a good size – it was very pleasant to be able to open the door into the lane. Nothing really was really nice.

The staff were very friendly, a great selection of beers, and the location was ideal for exploring. The bed was too small and uncomfortable, and the breakfast service could be improved.

The staff were comfortable and the value for money was good. The room was relatively small, but I was travelling alone so that wasn’t a real issue.

Beautiful surroundings, a lovely building, and the staff were pleasant. The food was lovely too. The facilities were quite dated, the range and availability of food and drink were a little limited, breakfast timings weren’t particularly practical, and the staff were noticeably overwhelmed when busy.
