“A lovely property and good value for money”
The property itself was great, literally on a slope next to a nice bar, making it easy for our older kids to choose between the room and the bar. The shower was hot and the heating was more than adequate for a wooden cabin. We did wish there were more bathroom shelves to balance our toiletries and a bit more hanging space in the wardrobe. Most staff were friendly, but one lady running the buffet for half the stay was the ruffest person I've met in a hotel; she shooed us away whenever we asked a question, shouted “NO ENGLISH” at us, and treated many guests poorly even for simple requests like finding cutlery. It was a shame, especially since the young lad who carried our bags and the reception lady were welcoming and helpful.
