The hotel had its pros and cons. On the plus side, there was an elevator and the hot water was always hot. However, the location on a hill meant the room was a bit damp. To add to the inconvenience, I didn't get a bottle of water in my room, but my friend did in theirs.

The hotel's request for a 50% payment via a Vietnamese bank account before arrival was a major red flag. It was clearly stated in the booking conditions that pre-payment wasn't required, but they insisted it was compulsory when I asked about it during check-in. To make matters worse, they told me the hotel was fully booked and asked me to cancel my booking, even though it was still available to book. It was a really frustrating experience and made me question the hotel's trustworthiness.

The hotel's central location made it easy to get around and find good food and drink options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price wasn't too bad, considering it was a weekend. What really stood out, though, was the friendly manager who was accommodating when I checked in early and checked out late. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
