The owner’s warm and attentive welcome, the impressive calm of the place, the breakfast with surprising and unusual homemade options (I’ll leave it to you to discover), the huge room and cocooning bed, the cool night during a heatwave (a big plus), and the sunsets over the Puy chain and the vast Milky Way were all fantastic. The breakfast, however, felt a bit too sugary for my taste; just one egg would have sufficed.

A magnificent spot steeped in history, everything is impeccably maintained. The setting is exceptional, calm and relaxing. The room is very comfortable. Olivier is wonderfully welcoming.
