This Japanese hotel really stood out for its spotless cleanliness - I've never seen a hotel as tidy as this one
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's location, which is just a short stroll from the metro and regional train station
The room size was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the standard in Japan, and it had all the modern conveniences you'd expect
The staff were super helpful and friendly, and the hotel even had its own car park, which was a bonus

Good, and good.
“また泊まりたい”
The staff treated us with great courtesy and even gave us directions for sightseeing, the room was clean and the toothbrush provided was solid, but the refrigerator didn’t get very cold.
“次も泊まりたいホテル”
The room was larger than its price suggested, stayed quiet at night allowing us to relax, we enjoyed free coffee and juice, could store big luggage, and the front desk staff were helpful; the only downside was that the card‑key system was initially confusing— you have to press the button before holding the card up, a red light then indicates unlocking, which felt odd compared to the usual green indicator and took a little getting used to.
“Un hôtel exceptionnel”
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Bolam Kyoto! The staff were sweet and helpful. The room was spacious, very pleasant, bright, and impeccably clean, everything looked brand new. There were plenty of thoughtful touches: hot drinks at the reception, daily refills of canned drinks and water in the mini fridge, and more. Everything was designed for a comfortable visit. The hotel isn’t in the most touristy or lively neighborhoods, but it’s very quiet and perfectly served by a convenient and efficient bus network that takes you straight to the main sights. Nijo Castle is right nearby. Everything was flawless! We recommend it 200%. We loved everything!
“Great place”
Clean. Easy to find
