The view from the window overlooking Rioni was beautiful. However, the room lacked a shower; when they realized, they squeezed it between a huge basin and the glass that separates the toilet. That shower only works if you’re about the size of a mop; otherwise you’ll flood the room. The room also had a horrible sewage smell. If you’re counting on breakfast, go early—nothing is left for the last arrivals.

What impressed me most was the amazing chef David, who served what might be the best shrimp I’ve ever had (I live in Georgia and have tried many). They let us wash our clothes and we paid 10 lari for the dryer, and they carefully folded everything—thanks a lot!❤️ From the rooms on one side of the corridor, the view was spectacular, and the mountain river noise helped everyone sleep well and clear their minds. The cleaning was poor: when we arrived, the floors were so dirty that I had to shake my feet off dust, grime, and some other junk before lying in bed. Someone’s empty plastic bottle was on the table. I asked for a tidy-up the next morning and they cleaned it up properly. The lack of a shower space is mentioned in all reviews, so I’m not focusing on it. It’s possible to manage; the water drains and the floor dries surprisingly quickly.

The hotel is good, the staff and owner are welcoming! The dinner and breakfast were tasty. The hotel is in a very secluded spot where silence, calm, and beauty are present outside (river, forest, church).

We were blown away by the hotel. The view from our window was stunning, with the river’s gentle murmur right outside the glass, creating a natural hush. At night we fell asleep to the soothing flow of water on comfortable mattresses, and in the morning the sun rose behind the mountains—exactly what we needed to fully enjoy this beautiful part of Georgia! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, attending to every request. The on‑site restaurant served excellent food, and we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, all of which were tasty and cozy.
