Budget-friendly motel with a nice attached pub, and the pedestrian bridge nearby puts the city centre within walking distance; a short stroll to Picaroons brewery and restaurant was a bonus, though the pub didn’t stay open very late on some days.

The location is great, close to the highway for an easy drive back to Quebec, and the on‑site restaurant‑bar saved us from hunting one in town; we parked right in front of our door. The room cost 128 $ + taxes, which was cheaper than similar rooms elsewhere in the Maritimes. Since we were leaving before the front desk opened, we just left our keys in the room. There was no coffee maker in the room, and we could only get coffee at the reception starting at 8 a.m., but we were leaving early so we missed it. A 300 $ deposit was charged in addition to the room rate, but it was refunded when we left the room tidy. I understand the hotel’s need to protect itself, but I didn’t expect to pay an extra amount.

Mold in the bathroom could be wiped away with Zep, but it’s not acceptable that it wasn’t cleaned up.

the price was very good, it met our expectation, easy to exit the property, close to where we wanted to go. the TV is to small
