During the month we spent in Sri Lanka, this place really stood out. From the first welcome to the amazing cooking, Shali made our stay in Ella unforgettable. The beds were comfortable and the room stayed quiet at night. Each morning the generous breakfast offered a beautiful view, sometimes with monkeys in the trees. A short 15‑minute walk into town or a few‑minute tuk‑tuk ride provided by the homestay was very reasonable. The dinners she prepared were the best we had on the trip. We loved our stay, thanks Shali.
