“Wspaniałe miejsce, czas i ludzie.”
We liked everything at Riad Nirvana :-) Excellent breakfasts—missing fresh orange juice, Moroccan yogurt with fruit toppings, msemen pancakes, baghrir pancakes with amlou paste, khobz bread, and Moroccan mint tea with sugar. Dinner on the terrace is full of Moroccan flavors, and the fish tajin is the best in town! Cleanliness is everywhere, no complaints. Photos on Booking match exactly what is available (I’ve added a few of my own). The location of Riad Nirvana is fantastic, everything is close, all medina attractions within walking distance, and you can easily reach Jemaa el-Fnaa square, Koutoubia Mosque, or Bahia Palace while exploring traditional souks. After those long walks or before them, you can relax on the loungers and small pool on our riad’s terrace. Most importantly, the people. The owners of Riad Nirvana and all staff are generous, always helpful, smiling, and friendly. English is not a big issue, French is Morocco’s “second” language, and where understanding is lacking, translators on our phones do a great job. We didn’t have to worry about anything; all tours were booked by the riad manager according to our choices. In short, it was a very successful stay, and Riad Nirvana can be recommended to anyone heading to Marrakech who wants to experience Moroccan culture up close. Overall, the riad is quiet and peaceful (except for the clear calls to prayer, which you quickly get used to). Of course, our stay wouldn’t have been the same without Vincent, Christelle, Saida, Aziz, Naima, Jamila, Rokya. Thank you all for your hospitality and care; we’ll definitely recommend Riad Nirvana to future visitors, and we’ll return ourselves. Since we liked everything, there are simply no negative remarks.
