The kitchen was dirty, the floors were in a pitiful state, and the space was too tight for the number of rooms rented. The sheets and duvet cover hadn’t been changed upon arrival, and they were also dirty and full of hair.

The location, bathroom and room cleanliness, and the owners’ friendliness and patience were the most notable positives. However, given the price I paid, the room seemed too expensive. There was almost no space to open a suitcase, the window was very difficult to open, the room was scorching hot, and the entry stairs were not especially clean; the carpet didn’t help.

Very quiet, at the back of the house. We could check in earlier, which was great. Communication was good and fast. The bed was nice and the shared kitchen was tidy. The shower was also pretty good for London. The room was very warm, even with the window open, though there was a fan. In summer it was probably too hot.

Other than the price, nothing. It wasn’t clean enough; I had to take the rug out of the room because it hadn’t been swept or cleaned at all.
