The hotel's location was perfect for me since it's near some family members I was visiting
The staff, particularly the elderly lady at the reception, were incredibly friendly and full of energy

The location is good, near Barmstedt’s city center, the breakfast is of good quality, and the owners are friendly. However, on the way you see an old, dilapidated building with the hotel name on it, which is a bit off‑putting, and the actual hotel is a charming little house in the courtyard.
