The room was neatly organized, and the shared areas were clean. The amenities covered all the basics. Considering the price, it’s a very good place to stay.

“Una experiencia tradicional pero no para nosotros”

It was a decent experience if you want to sleep in a traditional Japanese castle. The interior is preserved. Surrounded by rice paddies and right next to a small temple. The automatic check‑in and check‑out were very easy and the facilities had everything: microwave, water, amenities, a huge dining hall, bathrooms and showers. (The bathroom is on a different floor than the showers and it’s not very comfortable to go downstairs at night.) The truth is we arrived at night, the accommodation is very isolated from the city (only reachable by car) and there was no one in the house. It’s self‑check‑in, meaning no staff. Honestly we were scared to be in such a big, isolated house alone and went to dinner in the nearest town. When we returned, a group of cyclists had arrived late and everything could be heard, even their conversation, because the rooms are not well insulated from noise. The facilities are old, and although the hotel is new it hasn’t been remodeled much.

“超ユニークで素晴らしい”

I’ve stayed at many guesthouses, but this is the first one I’d actually recommend to a friend. Everything was great. The only thing that threw me off was how unique it was, and the large TV in the room – I didn’t know how to use it.

It was quiet and clean. The group staying next door was having a drinking party and it was noisy. They kept coming in and out of the room, which made me scared and I couldn’t even use the toilet.
