The location works if you’re exploring the area, and the new facilities—including a lovely pool—are a plus. However, the service is very basic and you’ll have to handle most things yourself. No one answered my emails or texts about directions, so I had to find the place on my own since it’s off the main road. The housekeeping team sometimes forgets to leave towels or a bathmat, and the only way to get in touch is by climbing the steep slope to the reception.

A cozy hotel and spa tucked into a peaceful setting; the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is solid. The property sits along a path that offers a pleasant walk through the countryside into Ubud’s centre, so I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.

A wonderful hotel! The place was very quiet and peaceful, the villa cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the price‑to‑quality ratio was excellent. The only thing I wish was a more varied breakfast.
