Everyone on staff was lovely and eager to help, but there was construction on the property that we weren't aware of, so we couldn't use the balcony.

The staff were very kind and caring, breakfast was superb. We booked the hotel as a stopover for later moves, so we didn't use the pool, which was still a plus. Value for money was great. The building is dated but overall well maintained; there's some minor maintenance needed, which is normal and didn't affect the stay.

We were assigned a room that wasn't the one we had booked and paid for in advance. It was only changed after we pointed it out (the room given was clearly inferior, with dated furniture and holes in the shower silicone). We documented everything and told the employee who initially implied I hadn't checked the reservation, and who then admitted it wasn't the room we had paid for. The whole thing ended with “Gentlemen, here are the keys to the room we should have given you.” What can I say… I also have activities on Booking and the images must be truthful, otherwise credibility is lost. I'm sorry, because I've spent 20 years vacationing on the Riviera. Unpleasant experience.

I watched TV in the room, but the chair broke when I sat on it and I hit my head, and the air conditioner was dripping.
