I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were fantastic and even drove me to the train station, helping me figure out the right ticket. The bedroom with a kitchen was great, and the self‑serve breakfast was generous, with eggs, real milk for coffee, yogurt, cereal… The neighborhood is safe and quiet. There’s a walking/bike path right next door that I didn’t get to try. I enjoyed the cafes and restaurants on the waterfront, especially Kelly’s and Soul Food. It was amazing in late October to sip coffee at a cafe right near the water. The water was warm enough to swim. I think the location is maybe best for those with a car, as it’s a $30 cab ride to the Rome airport or the beach, and the house isn’t near restaurants or sites.

The pillows were too flat, which made sleeping uncomfortable.

“Great proximity to the airport. Helpful staff.”

The place is close to the airport, but the loft bedroom was a bit treacherous to descend at night, and the breakfast in the room was just cold, dry items—far from what I expected at a B & B.

“Klein und fein”

I was personally greeted by the owner, who explained everything clearly. I had a parking spot. The breakfast was a bit sparse, especially the bread, but we had fresh milk, fresh juice, eggs and butter, and we could choose packaged sweet breads or a pack of regular bread.
