Manoa is the best hotel in Fortuna, and I've stayed there many times and will keep choosing it! Besides the spectacular hot spring pools, it has the best restaurants, the spectacular Japanese food, and the best wood‑fire pizza. I also love the buffet‑style breakfast bar that literally has all the options, and most importantly for me, vegan and gluten‑free choices.

The bungalow was very good with an unobstructed view of Volcano Arenal. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel feels like a tropical garden with magnificent vegetation and another great breakfast. The SPA prices target those without a car, and the equivalent quality in Fortuna is much cheaper. A pity, but otherwise a superb place.

The staff, service, and food were great. We were near the area under renovation, and on Saturday from very early the construction machinery and workers could be heard.

The warm welcome at the hotel and apartment, the explanation of how the hotel works, and the welcome kit with a room door plate, chocolates, water… all very cozy! The bathroom is naturally lit, the large balcony window offers a view of Arenal, and a winter garden preserves the privacy of the accommodation.

Breakfast offers many alternatives and is of excellent quality. The hot spring area stands out for its rustic stone pools, which are very original and harmonious with the environment. The shade over the pools with varied flora is very well provided. I think there should be a different price for Costa Rican tourists.
