“Preis-Leistung passt, man ist mitten im Geschehen”
The location is fantastic. Unfortunately, it gets very loud early in the morning in the surrounding area.

Located in Überlingen’s historic Old Town, K‑Hotel Grüner Baum sits 50 m from Lake Constance. Family‑run, it offers bright, wood‑furnished rooms with TV and en‑suite bathrooms, free Wi‑Fi, and optional breakfast. Guests benefit from discounted parking at Parkhaus West and secure bicycle storage. Its central position makes it an ideal base for exploring the lake, Allgäu, and Switzerland.

The roof terrace is a dream, and the apartment has a wonderful interior style♡ Below, the Café Solid Ground also has a lot of charm and very friendly staff. It is clean enough, but a closer look shows that the spring cleaning is missing.

The location is good. Everything is cheaply furnished and a bit old.

The location is great. The room is very small.

The location in the city centre was great, relatively quiet and close to the lake. We were met with no greeting at all and were unfriendly told that there were no bicycle parking facilities and that parking in front of the hotel was not possible. The booked bunk room was only 10 m² instead of the advertised 20 m²; spiders and other insects hung under the upper bed, the bathroom was very old, the bedside lamp and many sockets as well as the TV were broken. Overall, the price‑performance ratio for 100 Euro per night did not add up. We are not demanding, but the professionalism, equipment, staff and cleanliness point more towards a hostel, which would have been acceptable for us at a reasonable price. The fact that the café manager kept loud friends outside the hostel until late at night underscores the hostel character. I have no issue with hostels, but I would like to know beforehand what to expect.
