This 50-room hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a family restaurant with gluten-free and vegetarian options, and shared kitchenette facilities with a refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was great, the food in the restaurant was tasty, and the guest kitchen was excellent 👍🏻. The only drawback was that my room had no TV; I understand it’s a budget property, but a small TV would have been nice.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, though it felt a bit pricey.

Maintenance was terrible: a friend couldn’t exit the bathroom because the latch inside didn’t work, windows couldn’t be latched to close securely, the kitchen was left dirty with dishes in the sink and a horrible odour, and the communal men’s toilet door lock was broken. On the bright side, the meals and staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, and the dining room was very clean.

It was handy to be right in town, the room was private and the bed comfy, but the space was small, the sink felt odd, wallpaper was peeling, there were dents and holes in the walls, and the place clearly needs major renovations. There was no parking, the sink was rusty, and there were no shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner.
