The spot was fantastic, just steps from the Rialto Bridge with a canal view; the room faced the morning sun so it stayed pleasant even in the heat, and the shared facilities were tidy. The only downside was the stairs – I’d packed heavily for a long trip, so it was a bit of a climb.

Everything was great: the location, the roomy and beautiful room with amazing views, all clean and orderly. The only thing I knew beforehand was the stairs that aren’t many… and that there was no bathroom in the room.

I really liked the location near the market; in the evening you can still grab a bite and a drink. Noise in the Mansarde was fine, but on the lower floor you could hear guests talking.
