The place was quiet, but the arrival process left something to be desired.

The setting was gorgeous with Etna in the background, and the agriturismo sprawled across a huge area full of lemon and other fruit trees; the pool was a nice break on hot days and breakfast was excellent, both sweet and salty.

The property was large with a view of Etna, a big pool in a lovely garden full of lemon trees, and you could dine out in the evening; however, the street noise was loud when you took your breakfast outside.

It sits in the middle of a lemon grove yet is surprisingly close to the city, feels very homey, charming and a touch rustic; we had two bedrooms attached to a spacious kitchen/dining area, so it was quite comfortable, and lemons and oranges surrounded the building, making it easy to reach Etna and Taormina. The building is older, well kept but a bit worn and showing its age; my sister, who stayed in an adjoining room, liked it best among the agroturismos we visited in Sicily, finding it more charming and characterful than the newer ones.
